Let’s talk about a subject that has been as confusing as it is inspiring.  Who is God?  Some believe he is an all-powerful being that created the earth in seven days.  Others say that he does not exist.  Who is correct?  Is there a correct answer?  What does it take to believe in a God that is transparent to the human eye?  Can one truly believe in something that cannot be seen?

In modern day society, most people are too busy with their jobs, family, and personal lives to be bothered by whether or not they believe in invisible Being.  They have everyday struggles with careers and personal fulfillments that seem to take all of their attention.  Most have no concern of death, much less the possibility of life afterwards.  Some will ponder about re-incarnation, while others think of the black abyss of emptiness that is death, with no further thought as to whether or not they return as spirit or being.  If God were real, would not more people be concerned about their life after death?

The next question that comes to mind is: Does Heaven and Hell exist? According to the Bible, in Revelation chapter 20:15 states, “(15) anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”  Is God so cruel?  With all this being said, is it any wonder why people try to ignore the fact that there might just be a God, and an after-life.  Since it is impossible to live out a life without sin (a “perfect life”), does it not cause you to worry about not meeting God’s requirements for entrance into Heaven?

Most people view Heaven, streets of gold with lakes of clear blue water, as a place where you will get to see your loved ones again; happily reunited with family and friends.  If this option is real, then how do we achieve this outcome?  Do we strive to live a just and good life?  Do we follow others in their religions?  What must we do to achieve Heaven?

There are others who don’t see Heaven as an option for them; they look to re-incarnation as a creature or human in their afterlife if they follow a certain set of guidelines in this life.  Again, how do we achieve the required elements of this belief to be re-incarnated as a “good” creature or person?  Is being good, good enough?  Is there something more that is, or should be required of us?

Even though Heaven seems like a nice place to venture into our next life, what about Hell?  Is Hell so bad? Even though most people want to live life for the present, what about the future we might experience if we burn in Hell?  Most descriptions of Hell are all of horrible fire, loneliness, “gnashing of teeth” (grinding your teeth to powder in your mouth), self-doubt, emptiness, blindness, everlasting pain, and fear.

Although fear is mentioned lastly, it is the most significant of all of these.  Fear, unlike anything else mentioned is different for all of us.  It cannot only be described as fear of suffering or loss.  Fear, being independent to everyone is also independent of everyone.  One may fear loss of a tooth, while another fears loss of love.  In Hell, as understood, fear is a conglomerate of infinite loss; never ceasing, only repeating for eternity.  Right?  But, honestly, who knows?  There are accounts of people that have experienced Hell and all its horrors; tales and tellings  by the thousands, recounted in books, magazines, and ancient script throughout the world.  But, then again, who has the correct credentials to be fully believed by any number of people? Does God really have this right to judge where I go to?
Another good thought on the topic of God is, if God Created us, then who created God? No one knows exactly why there is life on earth.  A good reason why humans exist is the fact that we are at a perfect distance from the sun. With that being said, it makes me wonder, is God just a made up being to make people feel less lonely in this unknown world? Could there really be something more to this life than what we know? If so, is it really the way the Bible interprets it?

Earth is a very interesting place, with all of the technology, and fascinating discoveries it makes you wonder, did people think that certain things such as weather were either caused by God or the Devil? Is God the entire reason that we have hurricanes, tornadoes, snow, rain ect…? If so, then why does he cause horrible weather on the people he created and loves? Was the ultimatum back then true, that if god wasn’t fond of what you were doing he would punish you by hurting your family, farm, source of income, or anything that really mattered to you? Would that really be a fair way to make you realize what you are doing is wrong?
        '
With all of this talk of Gods punishments; it makes the mind wonder if anyone is qualified for Gods requirements. Is it really fair to make humans in your image, give them free will to do as they please, and allow the devil to temp the lives of humans and not try to stop it? Does he really love all of the people of this world. With all of the requirements of Heaven, is it any possible for one to get there? What exactly are these requirements? Do you have to follow all of Gods rules to get into Heaven? Since the bible has been written and re-written so many times, can you really trust everything that comes from it?

Some of people of this world may question the subject of God often. While others barley sleep because of their fear in God. Then, you have non-believers who think only of science as an answer to everything. The world may never know a correct answer to this question. It kills us, waiting on this earth to figure out Gods mystery, or any other type of future path. No one knows exactly what may happen at the end of the world. If God comes around on judgment day, will you be ready?
