For many years, science has been
trying to find the most asked question involving the universe, are we alone?
Have we had contact from extraterrestrial beings or are they trying to
get in contact with us now? Even from times of Egyptian days there have been
numerous amounts of unanswered questions involving, technology and intelligence
that they developed. There has also been an account of a random space
signal from another galaxy, proving that we are not alone. There’s been over
thousands of eye witness statements that have had close encounters of the third
kind and also evidence of extraterrestrial space craft. With all the
technological advances in this world we must ask ourselves, did humans really
have the knowledge to come up with all of these ourselves? Or have we had help
from extraterrestrial beings?
In the days of ancient Egypt, their technological intelligence was second to none.
They have had their own ways of making batteries, pulley systems, paper,
pottery, glass, boats furniture, medicine, and other necessary objects for
their daily life. Many people are convinced that the Egyptians’ were in contact
with extraterrestrial beings and had help with inventing these tools. In the
tombs of pyramids, and other ancient carvings, hieroglyphics have had numerous
amounts of evidence that extraterrestrial beings in spaceships could be
accounted for in helping the Egyptians with the necessities of their lives.
For example, In the Temple of Osiris at Abydos, there is a carving that
indicates that the Egyptians had an encounter with a spaceship. The
hieroglyphic image of the spaceship was clearly carved by someone who saw the
craft in perfect detail. Since no one is alive from the days of ancient
Egypt, it’s quite hard to determine if the carving was a “UFO” or not. Whether
the Egyptians had a high imagination, or they have had help with
extraterrestrial beings it’s still an unknown mystery that is left to discover.
While
it’s interesting to know that there have been ancient carvings, what about
something a little more current? On August 15th 1977, Jerry R.
Ehman, detected a random signal in space that had come from the Sagittarius
constellation (Gray). This signal was called the WOW signal. The signal was a
very strong one and lasted a whole 72 seconds. It was detected At the Perkins
Observatory in Delaware Ohio, while using the big ear radio telescope.
The Sagittarius constellation is approximately 143 light years away. With
that being said, it means that the random radio signal must’ve taken over 200
years to reach us. That would mean, if we were to send a signal the galaxy
could be destroyed by then. It would have been nice if the signal lasted just a
bit longer, or if the unknown source had a more effective way of communication,
such as saying hello, or something along those lines.
It’s
very interesting knowing there has been slight communication involving space signals;
there have also been numerous amounts of extraterrestrial sightings in the
world. These mysterious figures of the unknown must be trying to draw our
attention for some reason. In November 13, 1966 in Zanesville Ohio, Ralph
Ditter, a local barber and amateur astronomer, took two photos of a craft that
was spotted by more than one person throughout the year(Wilson). It was a
bright craft with a glowing orange color. On March 25th two Lucas
counties deputies had spotted the same orange craft in the sky floating at tree
top level. It was then spotted again over the Ohio turnpike days later. Not
only that there is a more famous case that has been the talk for centuries, The
Roswell incident. In July of 1947, a
mysterious craft had crash landed in the Roswell area on a ranch. The
object was very shiny and had a lot of unknown symbols on it. The government and
military took the evidence and examined it. After a while the government
released that the “craft” happened to be a weather balloon that fell apart.
Although we can’t determine exactly what the crashed object was, it is very suspicious that
the government would hide that information and share that it was just a weather
balloon. It seems as if that would’ve happened that the military would’ve announced
it to begin with instead of leave the public to wonder what exactly it was.
In
conclusion, it seems as if extraterrestrials have been in contact with us for
over thousands of years. It can only make sense to describe the unsolved
hieroglyphics, signals, and sightings as something extraordinary and out of
this world. Whether or not the world will know, it’s always fun to wonder.
